when do I need to RSVP by?
We appreciate early responses whenever possible, but please be sure to RSVP no later than April 24th to help us with final arrangements.
Where is the wedding located ?
Our wedding ceremony and reception will be held at Fishermen’s Inn, 43W901 Main Street Road, Elburn, IL 60119.
What time should you arrive?
Guests are welcomed and encouraged to arrive at 4:00 PM. Enjoy welcome refreshments and take time to walk the beautiful grounds of Fisherman’s Inn before the ceremony.
What time does the ceremony start?
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. To preserve the flow and intimacy of the moment, we kindly ask that any guests who arrive late wait until the ceremony has concluded before joining us.
What should I wear?
Formal attire is requested. We invite guests to dress in spring-inspired colors. Black is discouraged—with the exception of black suits for gentlemen—and we kindly ask that no one wears white. Make sure to wear comfy shoes so you can easily walk around and enjoy the venue. We are going for a formal Garden Party look!!
CAN I BRING A DATE?
Our wedding is by invitation only, and we appreciate your understanding as we have chosen to keep the celebration intimate with our closest loved ones. Any allotted plus-ones will be clearly noted on your RSVP.
Should I bring my ID?
The venue will check IDs at their discretion, so please come prepared and bring a valid form of identification—so you can celebrate and enjoy drinks with us all night.
ARE KIDS ALLOWED?
We are limiting children to immediate family only; otherwise, this will be an adults-only event. Your RSVP will indicate exactly who in your family is invited. We understand this may be disappointing and are grateful for your understanding.
IS THERE PARKING AT THE VENUE?
There is ample parking at the venue, including overnight if needed. We encourage guests to avoid driving after the wedding. If you leave your car overnight, please make sure to pick it up by 11:00 AM the next day. Be sure to stop by the desk to register your vehicle upon arrival.
is there transportation?
There will be one coach bus available to transport guests to the venue. After the celebration, a bus will make two return trips to bring everyone back safely and conveniently.

where is the after party?
The after-party will be held at the Marriott in Naperville. The hotel features a lobby bar and a spacious area perfect for continuing the celebration after the venue closes. We also have a reserved room block at the hotel—be sure to book within the block to receive our wedding rate.
Anything happening Friday night for traveling guest?
There’s nothing formally planned, but the future Mr. and Mrs. will be spending time in the hotel lobby after the festivities. Guests are welcome to grab a drink from the bar, relax, and join us for conversation. We’d love the chance to continue celebrating together in a laid-back setting.
WHAT KIND OF FOOD AND BEVERAGES WILL BE SERVED?
Get ready to eat, drink, and celebrate! Welcome beverages will be served before the ceremony. After the ceremony, enjoy an open bar with cocktails and four passed hors d’oeuvres. Dinner will follow, with your choice of filet mignon or chicken saltimbocca, served with seasonal vegetables and mashed potatoes. Please indicate your dinner preference in the RSVP section of your invitation. During the reception, a sweets table and a late-night bites at the hotel will also be available to keep the celebration going!
CAN I TAKE PICTURES?
During our ceremony, we kindly ask that you leave the photography to our professional photographers. Our goal is to have an unplugged ceremony, allowing everyone to fully immerse themselves in the moment without distractions from technology. After the ceremony, you are more than welcome to take as many photos and videos as you like!
