Matthew and Amber met in high school when they were both just 15. They first crossed paths at a mutual friend’s house, where Matthew immediately fell in love at first sight. He got Amber’s number that day, and after countless late-night conversations, the two quickly became inseparable best friends. On December 5th, 2015, they officially began dating—and their love story flourished from there. Their first real date was at Marengo Café in Matthews hometown. They were so young—Matthew had just gotten his license , and Amber was dropped off by her Mom. It was a sweet, humble beginning to a love neither of them imagined would last nearly a decade. They continued dating throughout high school and into college, navigating long-distance until Amber graduated from Ball State in 2022. During those years apart, they regularly committed to more than five hours of travel one way just to see each other in person. After graduation, on March 23rd, 2023, Matthew and Amber bought their first home together in Lakewood, IL. A few months later, Matthew brought home a stray cat he rescued from his worksite, and that little cat—now named Stella—quickly became their spoiled fur baby and the perfect addition to their growing family. After all these years, their love continues to deepen every single day. They are overjoyed to finally seal the deal on their love story and can’t wait to celebrate with everyone this May. We’ve reserved a block of rooms for our traveling guests on both Friday and Saturday. If you have any trouble booking a room, please don’t hesitate to reach out to a member of our immediate family—we’re happy to help! To ensure you’re included in our hotel block, please make your reservation by April 24th. Hotel check-in begins at 3:00 PM. To help avoid any stress, we suggest being early for check in and ready ahead of time since transportation will begin loading at 3:30pm and leave promptly at 3:45 PM. After the wedding, join us for some late-night pizza, and feel free to grab a drink at the hotel lobby bar, open until 1:00 AM.

Chicago Naperville Marriot

We’re excited to provide transportation to and from the hotel for your convenience. Each vehicle seats up to 56 guests. One bus will take everyone to the venue, and afterward, the coach bus will bring guests to the after-party at the Naperville Marriott Hotel. We encourage guests to take advantage of available seats to help fill the buses and make the ride even more fun! The one bus heading to the venue departs promptly at 3:45 PM and will be located at the West entrance of the lobby. Early arrival is appreciated and expected to help keep the day running smoothly. After the wedding there is one bus making two trips taking guest back to the hotel for the after party. first return bus will depart at 10:30 PM, and the second return bus will depart at 11:30 PM.
